    We bought the same clock when our children were young.  Now that they have their own children, we thought it would bring back fond memories from their youth.  They were so excited to share this experience.

    Stunning Sound Creation
    Being an ornithologist myself and avid birdwatcher and lover, I can really appreciate this beautiful timepiece. Every hour you get a new bird singing and welcoming in the new hour. The chirping is very realistic and pleasant. Highly recommend this !!

    So realistic, our birds respond
    This sounds just like the birds outdoors. Our birds we feed outdoors will respond when the birdcall inside is the same, with the same birdcall. I have to admit, when we first got it, and I was near the clock, I jumped thinking a wild bird was indoors. It is nice we can hear it in other rooms, though. Worth the price if you enjoy birds. Cant wait until it is warm enough -- again! -- to open the doors so the birds outside can hear it calling.

    Singing Bird Clock
    Wife was somewhat disappointed in that birds did not sing in the number on the clock as you reach the hour. Once for 1, twice for 2, three times for 3,etc. Just thought it did.

    Not loud enough
    Maybe I just dont know the procedure to make the sound louder, but it is not loud enough for my hearing otherwise it is a functional clock.

    Keeps good time
    A cheerful noise comes from the kitchen hourly as these birds announce the hour. Very realistic bird songs.

    Forget chimes... bird songs on the hour!
    Its a cute clock with a special surprise. For bird watchers, or just anyone who enjoys the beauty and diversity of birds, this is a great wall clock. But its more than just a pretty picture! Every hour, on the hour, youll be treated to a short bird song. There are a dozen different bird songs that are played in a random fashion. Its a great way for me to remember to get up from my desk and stretch or walk for a few minutes while working. Extra feature... the songs only play when the room has light. So at night, when it is dark, the birds sleep while you sleep!

    It is exactly as advertised
    This is a real lovely product. The appropriate bird sings on the hour and the clock is decorative. The field guide has both artistic representations of the birds and actual photos on the back. So much TV advertised merchandise disappoints, this clock does not.
