It quickly will power-up and jump-start most undercharged or dead batteries in vehicles with 4 to 6 cylinders engines (larger engines may be jump-started if the battery is not too drained). With no waiting or relying on unknown strangers, you'll be back on the road in minutes.
It's simple enough for almost anyone to operate. Color-coded cables (red = positive and black = negative or ground) get attached to the same color battery terminal. After the cables are attached simply turn the jump pack on and start the vehicle. It's that simple! The on/off switch ensures that there will be no live wires or sparks when in the off position, and if you hook up the cables wrong, an audio alarm and red light will be activated.
There are also loads of other useful features like the tire inflator. When the weather gets cold, your tires lose pressure; about 1-2 pounds per 10 degrees. This convenient inflator will quickly add the lost pressure back into the tires. With no cords or wires to hold you back, you can quickly move from one tire to another.
To ensure you put the correct amount of air in the tires, there is an LED number indicator that displays the current tire pressure. This same LED indicator will also display the jump pack's battery life when pressing the "battery test" button. When you're hooked up to a vehicle battery, pressing the battery test button will show you the percent of charge on the vehicle battery.
You can also charge and start more than just auto vehicles with the Peak 600: motorcycles, dirtbikes, ATVs, and even most boats!
But don't think of this as just a jump-starter, it's actually a full Power-Station with a 2.4 Amp USB port on the front of the unit. This will charge all of your USB electronics like smartphones, iPads, cameras, and much more. There is also a 12-volt DC socket that will power or charge all of your auto accessories like dashcams, spotlights, and GPS'.
And unlike most other jump packs, this one has a special LCA (Low Charge Alert) function. With this activated, the unit will alert you when it needs charging is needed. Just pull the red pin from the LCA port to activate this feature. It's recommended that you recharge this pack every 90 days when not in use.
To recharge, use the included power cord and plug it from the back of the unit to any household power outlet. When the LED display shows "FL", the unit is full.
