    Monocular not 20x60
    Like other similar Chinese-made monoculars, the specs are wildly overstated.  The front/objective lens is 40mm, not 60mm and the magnification is not 20X but closer to 8X which is actually good because its difficult to hand hold 20X steady. Could expand this review but since its sold out, theres little point. Overall quality is very good and the monocular works pretty well, its specs are just wrong, thus 4* and not 5*.

    Excellent gift
    I gave it as a gift to my son. He is a scout leader and told me that this is exactly what he needs. When the weather breaks and outside scouting perks up the monocular will get its workout.

    Monocular
    I was really impressed with the quality of the monocular in this kit. It was a little difficult to hook the cell phone up for the first time but once you do it a couple of times it's easy. I have not used the other products in the kit yet but the monocular itself makes it worth the money!

    Works for what we wanted
    Purchased this item to check out results of golfers attempting to hit the green during a charity golf tournament. Our first check out of the Hawkeye let us read a license plate over a half block away. Should work to spot a golf ball 125 yards away. Good product, happy camper.
